FEMALE BLUE ROCK THRUSH, MOUNT PARNITHA FOOTHILLS,AVLONA,ATTICA,GREECE, 10/10/2019

   Even though the photos are somewhat blurred, we can ID this bird as a female Blue Rock Thrush as follows:
  • Habitat - Rocky, precipitous habitat on mountainside
  • Brownish head and face
  • Barred light brownish chest
  • Barred buff belly and vent
  • Although it it difficult to make out the wings, what we can see are dark

   The Blue Rock Thrush is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 962.
