FIVE BIRD SPECIES ON SMALL ISLAND IN WETLANDS, WAKODAHATCHEE WETLANDS, JOG ROAD, DELRAY BEACH, FLORIDA, 1/24/2023

   We can see the following birds on this small island:
  • Wood Storks in first photo ( center) and third photo (in back of Great Blue Heron)
  • Adult Great Blue Heron(center of second and third photos) with chick below it
  • Double-crested Cormorant sitting in nest behind Great Blue Heron (third, fourth and fifth photo)
  • Anhingas (left in first photo)
  • Great Egret (bottom center of last photo).  This is the same island, but the Great Blue Heron has flown away.
