We can ID this motmot as a Whooping Motmot as follows:
- Cerulean crown
- Eyes are masked by a black triangular shaped wedge
- Green wings, as much as we can see of them
- Long tail with "racquet" tip
- Red eyes
- Bluish-green throat
The Whooping Motmot is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 887.
