BLACK-BELLIED WREN (THRYOTHORUS FASCIATOVENTRIS), PIPELINE ROAD,GAMBOA,PANAMA, 5/25/2019

Even though we can't see most of this wren, we can still ID it as a Black-bellied Wren as follows:
  • White throat and breast contrasting sharply with the dark plumage of what we can see - the head, nape and upper back.
  • We can just make out a whitish supercilium.

The Black-bellied Wren is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 888.
