ADULT ROSEATE SPOONBILL WITH 4 TEASPOONS (CHICKS) IN NEST & A SECOND NEST, ORLANDO WETLANDS, CHRISTMAS, FLORIDA, 3/5/2025

   Roseate Spoonbill chicks are called Teaspoons because their bills are not fully developed, especially when they are still in the nest, such as those in the photos.

   The nest with the fout chicks is shown in the first four photos.  The last photo shows a different Roseate Spoonbill nest.
