A LOAD OF GREAT EGRETS & THEIR FRIENDS, NAPLES BOTANICAL GARDEN, NAPLES, FLORIDA, 2/25/2025
These photos were taken from the Birding Tower at Naples Botanical Garden. In addition to the Great Egrets there were many other species foraging along with them. Here is a list of species we could ID:
- Great Egrets - see 6th photo
- Double-crested Cormorants - see 7th photo
- Wood Stork - see 8th photo
- Pied-billed Grebe - see 9th photo
- Glossy Ibis - see 10th photo
- White Ibises - see 11th photo
- Male Lesser Scaup in breeding plumage - see 12th photo
- Tricolored Heron - see 13th photo
- Little Blue Heron - see 14th photo (last photo)
All the above species are in one or more of the first five photo, but for some you have to look very carefully.
