GRAY THRASHER, SAN JOSE DEL CABO, LOS CABOS, BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR, MEXICO, 12/17/2023 - NEW LIFE SPECIES
We can ID this bird as a Gray Thrasher as follows:
- Gray brown head with bright yellow eyes.
- Whitish underparts with distinctive arrow-shaped black spots.
- White throat.
- Gray brown upperparts with two white wingbars.
- Long tail.
- Long, down turned bill.
The Gray Thrasher is endemic to the Baja California peninsula.
The Gray Thrasher is a new species to our ebird Photographic Life List. Our ebird Life List now stands at 1,103.
