We can ID bird as a male White-winged Tanager as follows:
- Red underparts
- Black upperparts with two bright white wing bars
- Red head with black mask
The White-winged Tanager is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 1,044.

Just after the last photo, I was running to get a photo of a bird. I fell and wasn't hurt, but my camera fell on me. The shock to the camera broke it in some way. So from this photo on, all the photos were taken either by digiscoping with my cell phone or directly with my cell phone. I would like to thank our birding guide, Ernesto Carman, for his help in taking the digiscoping photos.
