   We have identified this gull as a 1st Summer Little Gull, rather than the very similar 1st Summer Bonaparte's Gull, as follows:

• Reddish legs vs pink legs of a Bonaparte's Gull
• Gray cap vs mostly white/some gray cap of a Bonaparte's Gull
• Bold, black carpal bar vs less pronounced, more brownish-gray carpal bar of a Bonaparte's Gull
