We can ID this bird as Dot-winged Antwren as follows:

Overall black
Bold white dots on wing and single wingbar
White-tipped tail. In both photos if you look under the belly of the bird you can see the white tips of the tail.

The Dot-winged Antwren is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 894.

We can ID this Tanager as a male Crimson-backed Tanager as follows:

Bright crimson lower rump and underparts
Duller red head, upper back as much as see can see) and upper breast
Wings and tail are dark
Stout bill with lower mandible enlarged at base (you can see this in second photo)
