OSPREYS ON SNAG & IN NEST, CHRISTMAS BIRD COUNT, NAPLES BOTANICAL GARDEN,NAPLES,FL, 12/22/2018
This is the fourth year for the Christmas Bird Count led by Ed Kemnitzer. Ed is an avid birder and a volunteer at the garden who leads an open-to-the public Birding walk on Tuesday mornings and then man's the Birding Tower. We had a good turnout of birders. The group was divided into three subgroups, each of whom covered a different part of the garden. We sighted or in some cases heard a total of 59 species.
