COMMON OSTRICH, WHEAT FIELDS, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

   We can ID this bird as a Common Ostrich by its large size, distinctive shape, long legs and long neck.
   The Common Ostrich is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 506.

    We can ID this bird as a White-backed Mousebird by its grey plumage (including crest), blueish bill with black tip and red feet (can't see legs).
   The White-backed Mousebird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 505.
