AFRICAN OLIVE PIGEON, KIRSTENBOSCH NATIONAL BOTANICAL GARDEN, CAPE TOWN, SOUTH AFRICA

   We can ID this pigeon as a African Olive Pigeon by its conspicuous yellow eye patch, bill and legs; grey face and nape and finely white spotted wing converts.
   The African Olive Pigeon is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 501.

   Cape Point is a promontory at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula, which is a mountainous and scenic landform at the extreme southwestern tip of Africa.  Cape Point is in Table Mountain National Park.
