   The adult male Capped Wheatear is on the left and the juvenile on the right.

GABAR GOSHAWK, IVORY LODGE AREA, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this raptor as a Gabar Goshawk by its grey throat, red eyes and white rump.
   The Gabar Goshawk is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 462.



CAPPED WHEATEAR, IVORY LODGE AREA, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this bird as a Capped Wheatear by its black-and-white crown, face and breast band; white throat and supercilium; dark brown upperparts and white rump.        
   The Capped Wheatear is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 461.

   The two Grey Crowned Cranes sure look like their kissing.
