   We can ID this bird as a female Arnot's Chat by its distinctive whitish gray throat and upper breast scaled with black and white shoulders.

   We can ID this bee-eater as a Swallow-tailed Bee-eater by its forked blue tail ( in the photo you can only see part of the fork), yellow throat, downturned bill and green back.

   We can ID these raptors as African Hawk Eagles by their white underparts streaked with black, blackish brown upperparts with white spots and the underwing pattern when inflight.

   The African Hawk Eagle is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 455.

STRIPED KINGFISHER, IVORY LODGE AREA, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this kingfisher as a Striped Kingfisher by its dark-capped appearance contrasting with its whitish collar, dark and red bill and striped underparts.
