MARABOU STORK, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

    We can ID this stork as a Marabou Stork by its very large grey bill, pinkish face
and neck (bare skin), dark upperparts and whitish underparts.
   The Marabou Stork is new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 413.

GREY HERON, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA

   We can ID this heron as a Grey Heron by its white head and neck with a black eye stripe ending in a wispy plume and grey upperparts.
   The Grey Heron is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 412.
