   The first photo shows a male Waterbuck with horns and the second shows two females.  One way of distinguishing the Common Waterbuck is the white on the rump. You can see this in both photos.

AFRICAN BARRED OWLET, IMBABALA ZAMBEZI SAFARI LODGE, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this owl as an African Barred Owl by its barred breasts, spotted belly, yellow eyes, buffy tail with many dark bars and prominent white spots below eyes.
   The African Barred Owlet is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 376.
