GREY GO-AWAY BIRD, IMBABALA PRIVATE CONCESSION, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this bird as a Grey Go-Away-Bird by its uniformly grey color and pointed crest.
   The Grey Go-Away-Bird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 378.


AFRICAN DARTER, IMBABALA PRIVATE CONCESSION, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this bird as an African Darter by its resemblance to a cormorant, but with a long, thin snake-like neck.  Also, the sides of the neck and head are rufous and the wing coverts are streaked with buff.
   The African Darter is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 377.

COMMON WATERBUCKS, IMBABALA PRIVATE CONCESSION, ZIMBABWE

   The first photo shows a male Waterbuck with horns and the second shows two females.  One way of distinguishing the Common Waterbuck is the white on the rump. You can see this in both photos.
