NIAGARA FALLS VIEW FROM OUR ROOM, NIAGARA FALLS, ON

   These photos were taken through the window of our room on the 19th floor of the Marriott Fallsview.  They were taken through the glass window.  It was a spectacular view of the falls.  The last two photos were taken at night.  The American Falls was lit up with multicolored lights.

   Thought this was an interesting photo, with the Double-crested Cormorants roosting on a couple of snags in the middle of the Niagara River, the ferris wheel in the background and an abandoned grounded boat in the foreground.

YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, PRESQU'ILE PROVINCIAL PARK, MILFORD, ON

   We can ID this warbler as the "Myrtle" variety of the Yellow-rumped Warbler as follows:

• Yellow shoulder patch.
• Dark face with split eye-ring.
• Dark streaks on breasts and flanks.
• Pale eyebrow.  You can just make this out on the first photo.
• Whitish throat.
