GREAT-CRESTED FLYCATCHER, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL
We identified this bird as a Great-crested Flycatcher as follows:
- Gray head, neck and breast
- Bright yellow belly
- Rufous color on tail; also you can see rufous color on wings
The Great-crested Flycatcher is a new species to our Life List, which now stands at 243.
WILSON'S SNIPE, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL
This sandpiper can easily be recognized as a Wilson's Snipe by the bold cream colored stripes on the back.

RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL
This is the Florida subspecies of the Red-shouldered Hawk. This subspecies is paler than the northern birds.
