SOUTH KENT WIND FARM, TILBURY, ON, 10/22/15

   This wind farm can be seen along Highway 401 from Tilbury. ON to Ridgetown, ON.  The wind turbines produce 240 MW of electricity.  The turbines are on parcels of land located on farms.

SANDPIPERS & TERNS ON SANDBARS, TARCOLES RIVER, TARCOLES, COSTA RICA, 10/8/15

   The first two photos are of various species of sandpipers and the third photo of terns (probably mostly Royal Terns) on sandbars on the Tarcoles River.

   Thes are Neotropic Cormorants and Magnificent Figatebirds roosting on trees along the Tarcoles River.

MACAWS FLEEING, OTOYA FARM, RIO CUARTO, GRECIA, ALAJUELA, COSTA RICA, 10/6/15

      These Macaws were perched in trees, when a raptor appeared in the sky.  The Macaws scattered and flew away, but eventually came back after the raptor disappeared.  There are Scarle4, Great Green and Hybrid Macaws in the photos.
