WEST INDIAN WHITLING-DUCKS, CARIBE DELUX PRINCESS, PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, 6/8/2023 - NEW LIFE SPECIES

   We can ID this duck as a West Indian Whistling-Duck as follows:

• Mostly brown with flanks black speckled with white
• Pale to whitish forehead
• Large feet
• Face brownish and whitish with dark eyes
• White throat
• Foreneck black with white speckles

   The West Indian Whistling-Duck is a new species to our Photographic Life List.  Our ebird Life List now stands are 1,071.
