We can ID this parrot as a Yellow-lored Parrot (also known as Yellow-lored Amazon, Yucatan Parrot and Yucatan Amazon) as follows:
- Yellow bill and lores
- Lower back is green, with red primary coverts
- Red around eyes (you can just make the red out if you look closely)
- Relatively short, blunt-tipped tail
The Yellow-lored Parrot is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 819.
