WEST INDIAN WHITLING-DUCKS, CARIBE DELUX PRINCESS, PUNTA CANA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, 6/8/2023 - NEW LIFE SPECIES
We can ID this duck as a West Indian Whistling-Duck as follows:
- Mostly brown with flanks black speckled with white
- Pale to whitish forehead
- Large feet
- Face brownish and whitish with dark eyes
- White throat
- Foreneck black with white speckles
The West Indian Whistling-Duck is a new species to our Photographic Life List. Our ebird Life List now stands are 1,071.
