GOLDEN-CROWNED KINGLET, COLONEL SAMUEL SMITH PARK, TORONTO, ON
We can ID this bird as a Golden-Crowned Kinglet (Regulus satrapa) by its very small size (estimated at 4"), yellow crown surrounded by black, white eyebrows, black stripe through eyes, white underparts and olive-gray upperparts.
The Golden-crowned Kinglet is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 520.
