GREAT BLACK-BACKED GULL, WINDERMERE BASIN, HAMILTON, ONTARIO, 12/20/2025

We can tell the gull in the first photo is a Great Black-backed Gull, rather than a Lesser Black-backed Gull by comparing it to the two American Herring Gulls in the second photo.  It is larger than the two American Herring Gulls, thus indicating it is a Great Black-backed Gull rather than a Lesser Black-backed Gull.
