CANADA GEESE IN WATER & IN FLIGHT, REESOR POND, MARKHAM, ONTARIO, 10/21/2025
I estimated there were at least 500 Canada Geese in Reesor Pond and at least another 100 were flyovers.
LARGE FISH, PROBABLY A SALMON, HUMBER BAY PARK EAST, TORONTO, ONTARIO , 10/18/2025
You can see Salmon during the fall Salmon run between September and November at Humber Bay Park, at the mouth of the Humber River, where it enters Lake Ontario. The Salmon migrate upstream from Lake Ontario to spawn. This Salmon obviously got lost, as it entered a pond in the park from Lake Ontario, which has no other exit and does not connect to the Humber River. I think it was a having a hard time getting out because of all the obstructions in the pond.
