BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER MOLTING INTO BREEDING PLUMAGE, FORT DE SOTO PARK, TIERRA VERDE, FLORIDA, 4/14/2022
This Black-bellied Plover is molting from nonbreeding plumage to breeding plumage. You can see the black starting to form on its underparts.

After discarding the fish, the Great Blue Heron walked away, came back, picked up the fish again and discarded it again.
