CORMORANTS & GULLS ON THE ROCKS, HEAD HARBOR PASSAGE,CHARLOTTE COUNTY,NEW BRUNSWICK,8/15/2019

   We can see the following birds on these rocks:
  • Double-crested Cormorants
  • Greater Black-backed Gulls - these are the large Gulls with black backs.
  • Black-legged Kittiwakes - these are the small Gulls with black wing tips on the steepest parts of the cliffs.  You can see these in the last five photos.
  • Herring Gulls - these bills are intermediate in size between the two other Gulls and have grey backs.
