CUTLER HARBOR & THE "BARBARA FROST", CUTLER, MAINE, 8/12/2019
Sharon and I went on a Road Scholar birding trip - "Chickadees, Grouse, Puffins & More: A Birder's Dream in Down East Maine". The trip was from August 11- 16, 2019. On Monday, 8/12, the first full day of the tour, we traveled from Heartwood Lodge at Cobscook Community Learning Center in Lubec, Maine to Cutler, Maine to board the "Barbara Frost", captained by Andy Patterson. Our birding guides were Doug Hitchcox and Woody Gillies. They were both great birding guides. The Barbara Frost took us to Machias Seal Island, were we saw numerous Atlantic Puffins and other paleagic birds. It was a very successful trip.
