MALE BEARDED BELLBIRD, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

    Even though these photos were taken at a long distance and then enlarged, we can ID this bird as a male Bearded Bellbird by its generally whitish color, coffee brown head, black wings and black beardlike wattles hanging down (you can just make this out in first photo).
   The Bearded Bellbird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 537.

   We can ID this parrot as a Orange-winged Parrot by its generally green color, yellow on the cheeks and orange wing speculum. 
   The Orange-winged Parrot is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 536.

CHANNEL-BILLED TOUCAN, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO

   Evan though this photo was taken at a great distance and then further enlarged we can ID this bird as a Channel-billed Toucan by its  distinctive mostly black bill, light blue face patch, red on belly and rest of it mostly black.
   The Channel-billed Toucan is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 535.
