ORANGE-WINGED PARROT, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
We can ID this parrot as a Orange-winged Parrot by its generally green color, yellow on the cheeks and orange wing speculum.
The Orange-winged Parrot is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 536.
CHANNEL-BILLED TOUCAN, ASA WRIGHT NATURE CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
Evan though this photo was taken at a great distance and then further enlarged we can ID this bird as a Channel-billed Toucan by its distinctive mostly black bill, light blue face patch, red on belly and rest of it mostly black.
The Channel-billed Toucan is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 535.
COCOA THRUSH, ASA WRIGHT NATUR E CENTRE, ARIMA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO
We can ID this bird as a Cocoa Thush by its overall brown color - rich chestnut upperparts and duller below (see first photo).
The Cocoa Thrush is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 534.
