NONBREEDING RUFOUS-BELLIED HERON, ZAMBEZI RIVER, ZIMBABWE

   We can ID this heron as a nonbreeding Rufous-bellied Heron by the rufous color of its belly and on its wings and tail; pale yellow and gray (upper mandible) bill and yellow facial skin.

   The Rufous-bellied Heron is a new species to our Photographic Life list, which now stands at 411.
