COLONIES OF WOOD STORKS & OTHER BIRDS, WAKODAHATCHEE WETLANDS, DELRAY BEACH, FL
Scattered throughout Wakodahatchee Wetlands are small islands with colonies of breeding Wood Storks and other breeding birds, including Cattle Egrets, Anhingas, Double-crested Cormorants, Great Blue Herons, etc. Here are photos of some of these colonies.

The Cattle Egrets get beautifull orange plumage for breeding plumage.

In the first two photos the male Boat-tailed Grackle is on the right and the female on the left.
