YELLOW-RUMPED WARBLER, PRESQU'ILE PROVINCIAL PARK, MILFORD, ON

   We can ID this warbler as the "Myrtle" variety of the Yellow-rumped Warbler as follows:
  • Yellow shoulder patch.
  • Dark face with split eye-ring.
  • Dark streaks on breasts and flanks.
  • Pale eyebrow.  You can just make this out on the first photo.
  • Whitish throat.

   The two large gulls ( at center and upper right) are Ring-billed Gulls and the smaller gulls are Bonaparte's Gulls in various stages of development.
