NORTHERN CARDINAL, DUFFERIN ISLANDS PARK, NIAGARA FALLS, ON

THE GULLS OF GOAT ISLAND, NIAGARA FALLS, ON

Goat Island splits the Horseshoe Falls and Bridal Veil Falls.  From the top of Goat Island to the bottom at the Niagara River there are thousands of gulls during the day. As dusk approaches they disert the island to their roosting places.  The photos show some of the thousands of gulls on the island.  Most of the gulls this time of year are Ring-billed Gulls.  During winter there are many other species.

NIAGARA FALLS-NIGHT, DAY & RAINBOW, NIAGARA FALL, ON

These photos of Niagara Falls were taken this past Thursday from our hotel window on the 16th floor.  We lucked out to see a beautiful rainbow over the Horseshoe Falls when we first arrived.  At night, the falls on both the US and Canadians sides were lit up with multicolored lights; it was a beautiful sight.
