We can ID this bird as a Swallow-tailed Kite by its long forked tail, its white body and its white underwing coverts.
YELLOW-THROATED WARBLER, COE VISITOR CENTER, EVERGLADES NATIONAL PARK, HOMESTEAD, FL
We can ID this warbler as a Yellow-Throated Warbler as follows:
- Bright yellow throat
- Black cheek
- White neck spot and white eyebrow
- Two white wingbars
The Yellow-throated Warbler is a new species to our Life List, which now stands at 275.
