OSPREYS FEEDING THEIR CHICS, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

In a recent post we showed one of these Ospreys in the nest with one of its chics.  As we watched these two Ospreys we could see them feeding the chics, even though we couldn't actually see the chics.

MIXED ROOST AT EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

This large roost consists mostly of White Ibises, but also contains Double-crested Cormorants, Great Egrets and Anhingas.  It probably contains other birds that we weren't able to identify because of the distance.   It's quite a site seeing almost empty trees and then seeing all the birds fly in to roost.

ADULT OSPREY & CHICK IN NEST, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

The Osprey chick is on the lower right in the nest.  There may be another chick to the left of it, but it is hard to tell.  The Osprey nest is on top of a light post just beyond the restroom building at Eagle Lakes.
