VISIT TO AN ORGANIC & RESEARCH FARM, LA FORTUNA, SAN CARLOS, COSTA RICA, 9/30/15
We visited an organic and research farm, Reserva Ecologica Ecocentric Danaus in La Fortuna de San Carlos. The first photo shows a traditional sugar cane press and the second photo shows Sharon, our tour guide Eric and the farm's guide pressing sugar cane. The next three photos show Sharon and the farm tour guide making tortillas. The two photos after this show fruit from which cocoa beans come from and the cocoa beans themselves. The rest of the photos are of various crops, flowes and animals at the farm.

THE ZIP LINING THAT NEVER WAS, ARENAL VOLCANO NATIONAL PARK, LA FORTUNA, SAN CARLOS, COSTA RICA, 9/29/15
Sharon and I went to Arenal National Park to zip line. Sharon decided not to do it and I got all suited up to go zip lining. The first photo is of both of us, with me all suited up for zip lining. The second photo shows the tram that goes up to 4100 ft. The third and fourth photos are views from the tram of Lake Arenal, which is an artificial lake used for hydroelectric generation. The last two photographs are at the end of the tram at 4100 ft., where the zip line starts. You can see a rainbow in these photos.
Unfortunately, when we got to the top it started to rain very hard, with thunder and lightning. Because of this the zip line was closed down; so I never did go zip lining.
