AUSTRALIAN WHITE IBIS, HYDE PARK, SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

  We can ID this Ibis as an Australian White Ibis by its white color, black head and neck and black plumes and feathers near the tail.
   The Australian White Ibis is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 603.

POLYNESIAN TRILLER, NABILA BEACH AREA, VITI LEVU, FIJI

   We can ID this bird as the Viti Levu subspecies of the Polynesian Triller by its brownish-grey upperparts,  white underparts with dark bars, black cap, broad white supercilium and black line through eye to nape.
   The Polynesian Triller is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 602.



SPOTTED DOVE, NABILA BEACH AREA, VITI LEVU, FIJI

   Even though this dove was in the shadows and colors are hard to discern, we can ID this dove as a Spotted Dove  by its white-spotted black patch on the nape, generally greyish-brownish color, long tail and brown wing feathers with grey edges.
   The Spotted Dove is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 601.
