DOWNY WOODPECKER, FREEDOM MEMORIAL PARK, NAPLES, FL
We could ID this woodpecker as a Downy Woodpecker and not a Hairy Woodpecker by its very small size (estimated at 6" +-).
RED-SHOULDERED HAWKS IN NEST, FREEDOM MEMORIAL PARK, NAPLES, FL

Red-shouldered Hawks generally return to the same nesting territory year after year. Both the male and female build the nest or refurbish a prior years nest.
