RED-WINGED BLACKBIRDS, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

      The bird in the first photo is a male Red-winged Blackbird.  In the second photo the male is on the right and the female Red-winged Blackbird is on the left.  In the third photo a partial photo of the male is on the left and the other three birds are female.

NONBREEDING PALM WARBLER, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

   We could easily ID this warbler as a Palm Warbler by its bobing its tail up and down.


COOPER'S HAWK, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

   We were able to ID this hawk as a Cooper's Hawk (rather than a Sharp-shinned Hawk) by its size and long tail.

BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER, EAGLE LAKES COMMUNITY PARK, NAPLES, FL

   We can ID this bird as a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher by its long black and white tail, pale blue-gray back and white eye-ring.
