VICTORIA FALLS AND ZAMBEZI RIVER FROM ZAMBIA SIDE, MOSI-OA-TUNYA NATIONAL PARK, LIVINGSTONE, ZAMBIA
Victoria Falls is known locally as Mosi-oa-Tunya - "The Smoke Which Thunders". This time of year, at the end of the dry season, much of the canyons of the falls are dry. At the height of the wet season they would be completely submerged by water flowing over them. Even at this time of year Victoria Falls is a beautiful and majestic sight. The bridge shown in one of the photos is over the Zambezi River between Zambia and Zimbabwe.
