COZUMEL WREN, CAMINO A PLANTA DE TRATAMIENTO, COZUMEL, MEXICO, 6/23/2025 - NEW SPECIES TO LIFE LIST

   We can ID this bird as a Cozumel Wren as follows:

• Bird in both photos identified by both Merlin and Google Image as a Cozumel Wren.
• Whitish/Grayish underparts.
• Brown upper parts.
• Dark upper mandible and orange lower mandible.
• Dark eye with indistinct pale supercilium.
• There is no other species in Cozumel similar to the Cozumel Wren.

   The Cozumel Wren is endermic to Cozumel and it is a new species to our ebird Photpgraphic Life List.
