   The first photo shows a male Belted Kingfisher (has only one band on chest, a blue one) and the second photo shows a female Belted Kingfisher (has two bands on chest, a blue band and a chestnut band).

   Just received this email today, regarding Cornell Lab of Ornithology, using 296 of the bird photos that I contributed to eBird to help train their new Merlin photo ID model.  This photo ID model is now part of Merlin version 3.5.
