MALE MISTLETOEBIRD,, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this bird as a male Mistletoebird by its blackish upperparts and head, red chest, short black bill and whitish belly.
   The Mistletoebird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 697.

GREAT BOWERBIRD, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this bird as a Great Bowerbird by its large size, overall grey color with the upperparts darker than the underparts, brown tail and whitish tips and edges of the feathers on the upperparts. 
   The Great Bowerbird is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 696.

SPANGLED DRONGO, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this bird as a Spangled Drongo by its glossy blue-black plumage, blood red eyes and long forked tail (you can just make the fork out).
   The Spangled Drongo is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 695.

BROWN HONEYEATER, GRANITE GORGE NATURE PARK, ATHERTON TABLELAND, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

    We can ID this bird as a Brown Honeyeater by its small yellow patch behind eye, yellow gape, downcurved bill, brownish-grey head  and pale grey below.
   The Brown Honeyeater is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 694.
