EMERALD-SPOTTED WOOD-DOVE, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA
We can ID this dove as an Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove by its wing-spots (color depends on light), part of one of its black bands showing, rufous showing from its wings and bluish-grey crown. Also, the very similar Blue-spotted Wood-Dove is generally not in the Chobe area, while the Emerald-spotted Wood-Dove is.

LITTLE BEE-EATER, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA
We can ID this bird as a Little Bee-eater by its green back, buffy underparts, yellow throat with black stripe under it and green crown.
The Little Bee-eater is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 417.
COMMON GREENSHANK, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA
We can ID this wader as a Common Greenshank by its grey upperparts, whitish underparts, long greenish legs and long slightly upturned grey bill with a dark tip.
The Common Greenshank is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 416.
SOUTHERN GREY-HEADED SPARROW, CHOBE NATIONAL PARK, BOTSWANA
We can ID this bird as a Southern Grey-headed Sparrow by its plain grey head, brownish upperparts, grayish underparts, rufous rump and two white wingbars.
The Southern Grey-headed Sparrow is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 415.
