KAKA AT FEEDER & EATING, ZEELANDIA SANCTUARY, WELLINGTON, NORTH ISLAND, NEW ZEALAND

   We can ID this parrot as a Kaka or New Zealand Kaka  by its greyish-white forehead and crown, greyish brown nape, reddish neck and abdomen and long downward upper mandible. .
   The Kaka is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 740.
