WHITE-NECKED HERON, NYLETA WETLANDS, HASTIES SWAMP NATIONAL PARK, QUEENSLAND, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this heron as a White-necked Heron by its white neck with distinctive black spots in the center of the lower foreneck and throat, slate gray upperparts and underparts and black bill, 
   The White-necked Heron is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 702.
