AUSTRALIAN WOOD DUCK, HACKING RIVER, ROYAL NATIONAL PARK, AUDLEY, NSW, AUSTRALIA

   We can ID this duck as an Australian Wood Duck by its looking like a small goose, dark brown head, mottled underparts  and grey wings with black primaries.   The female has white stripes above and below the eye, while the male doesn't.
   The Australian Wood Duck is a new species to our Photographic Life List, which now stands at 619.
